OPEN POSITION

 

Job Placement Coordinator

USDA Forest Service, Central California Consortium (CCC)

Position is located at the Sierra National Forest Supervisor's Office in
Clovis, CA 

40 hours per week (Full-time)

Salary Based on Experience (13.58- 16.83)

 

Duties:

*	Assist in outreach and recruitment activities

	*	Class presentations, job & career fairs

*	Coordinate Summer Internship Program

	*	Assist applicants with application process 
	*	Place summer interns in various forests
	*	Coordinate intern orientation
	*	Coordinate intern presentations workshop
	*	Coordinate annual intern awards ceremony

*	Maintain program website
*	Design student participant booklets (Summer Interns & State
Fair)
*	Update program's annual accomplishment report 
*	Oversee program's budget system
*	Organize staff meetings/agendas
*	Maintain office calendar
*	Supervise office interns
*	Participate in program activities as chaperone and mentor for
high school students
*	Serve as a representative/speaker for the Forest Service, CCC
program

 

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Publisher; Adobe Photoshop,
basic Web Design & HTML skills 

 

The ideal candidate will be someone who is working on or has completed
their Masters degree.  Bilingual preferred.
