Spring Semester Deadline Extended: December 31, 2006

Are you a Business major looking for some hands-on experience before
graduation? Or, are you graduating in December and looking for a great
way to start out in the business world? The Washington Center has paid
internships available for the BB&T Hispanic Workforce Development and
Training Initiative - don't miss out on this great opportunity for
students and recent graduates!

If you're interested in entering the financial services industry,
interning at BB&T would give you the chance to live in Washington, D.C.,
gain experience and earn academic credit. Plus, if you are selected to
work at BB&T, you would be awarded a full scholarship to cover TWC
program and housing fees and a $125/week stipend to offset your living
expenses. To learn more about BB&T, please visit www.bbandt.com
<http://www.bbandt.com/>

Additionally, you could be considered for the BB&T Management
Development Program after you complete the semester, which could lead to
employment.

To apply, you must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident, be of
Hispanic background, major in a business-related discipline and be a
rising senior, recent grad or graduate student with a 2.75 GPA. Also,
you need to be a resident of or attend school in one of BB&T's selected
states (FL, GA, KY, MD, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV or DC).
