[Students] The Ford Blue Oval Scholarship is NOW Open!

The Ford Blue Oval Scholarship offers funds to students who are members
or participants of the Ford PASS Program, Girl Scouts of America, Boy
Scouts of America or the Future Farmers of America who plan to enroll at
a college, university or technical school. Selected scholars will be
invited to attend an award ceremony hosted by Ford Motor Company and
participating Ford and Lincoln Mercury dealers. Awards will be announced
in June. 

Total Scholarship Funds- $100,000

Individual Awards- $2,000

Eligibility Requirements:

*	Must be a member or participant of the Ford PASS Program, Girl
Scouts of America, Boy Scouts of America or the Texas FFA in the San
Antonio, Texas region.  
*	Must reside in the San Antonio area, in one of the following
counties: Bexar, Atascosa, Guadalupe, Medina, Wilson, Kendall or Comal.

*	Must be a rising freshman, sophomore, junior or senior in
college by fall 2008. 
*	Must be accepted or plan to enroll in a college, university or
technical school in the U.S. or Puerto Rico in September 2008. 
*	Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate
student for the 2008-2009 academic year. 
*	Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average
of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. 
*	Must demonstrate financial need. 

Required Documents:

*	Official Transcript- Postmarked by May 30th 
*	Proof of family income- Postmarked by May 30th 
*	Essay- Submitted online by May 30th 
*	Resume- Submitted online by May 30th
